As we strive to deepen our covenant relationship with Jesus Christ, we must learn to seek him more intentionally. The Savior himself offers this transformative invitation: “Henceforth I call you not servants; . . . but I have called you friends” (John 15:15).

In this new coauthored volume, beloved authors Rosalynde Welch and Adam Miller invite us to ponder encounters with Christ in the New Testament. Written as a series of letters between friends, the authors explore how Christ reveals himself in seven iconic “crossings” from the Gospel of John—deeply personal, face-to-face encounters that put ordinary people in the immediate presence of Christ. At each crossing, hearts are transformed: a stranger becomes a disciple, a seeker becomes a believer, and a servant becomes a friend.

Blending rigorous disciple-scholarship with warm personal testimony, Seven Crossings is an active invitation to join the covenant circle of God’s friends.
