This multi-layer "mandala style" temple plaque is an original design. The detailed art piece is created out of 9 layers of laser-cut, navy, gray and red stained birch and walnut woods with a total thickness just over 1".
The mandala background design is inspired by the potato flower motif shown throughout the Burley Temple. Each layer is slightly different than the one above.
The design elements in our designs reflect the unique architectural detail found in this specific temple, an effect that is relaxing and mesmerizing.
This unique piece of inspirational artwork makes a special gift for friends, newly weds and loved ones. It can be showcased in your home or office, hung on a wall, or displayed on a desk or shelf.
The Burley Idaho Temple will be the seventh temple built in Idaho. Idaho is home to over 460,000 members of the Church in around 1,200 congregations. Burley is in the southern part of the state. Early Church pioneers settled in Idaho in 1855. Several Church presidents are natives of Idaho, including Presidents Harold B. Lee, Ezra Taft Benson and Howard W. Hunter.
The 38,600-square-foot temple will be constructed on a 10.1-acre site at 40 South and 150 East in Burley.
