There is something so special about our brothers and sisters with disabilities, its hard to pin point what it is exactly. Although they are handicapped in their ability to function day to day, their spirits are soaring. You see it in their eyes. They accept and love everyone! I felt that in Kurt, my down syndrome “best buddy” for three years while I was in college. I feel that in Mikey, the young man with cerebral palsy who posed for this image.

Those born with disabilities are exactly that...Heaven Sent.

Sent here to teach US about what really matters in life. Simple joys, simple smiles, simple love. I know our Savior has a special place in His heart for these Heaven Sent souls.

For such is the Kingdom of Heaven.
