On July 4, 2026, it will be 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. We remember that hallowed event when men were willing to give their all for freedom. Since that day, patriots have followed in their footsteps to bring honor to the nation our forefathers founded.

Among the patriots are 76 Latter-day Saints who have been recognized for their distinctive talents and contribution to the statute of our nation. From the Congressional Medal of Honor to the Olympics, we honor these patriots, who have helped build a nation that mirrors the ideals of our Founding Fathers: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
