Service is not only transformative but also doable. We can each look for opportunities to lift people around us, no matter who we are. We hope this issue of LDS Living inspires you to give and receive goodness—every day. Turn to p. 42 to read comforting stories from Latter-day Saints who have experienced quiet acts of service. Everyday goodness can also manifest in other ways throughout our lives, from uplifting conversations (“Words That Matter,” p. 20) and unexpected answers to prayer (“Faith to Trust,” p. 50) to unique opportunities to serve as parents (“Nurtured by Daily Light,” p. 59) or in our wards (“Zion Starts Here,” p. 68).
