Part I, Lord Of The Universe, inspiringly identifies Jesus Christ as the Son of God, defines His place in the Plan of Salvation, shows why we need Christ and His perfect gift of vicarious grace through His Atonement, by which we may repent of our sins, be cleansed, forgiven, sanctified, resurrected, ultimately perfected, and made worthy to return to the presence of our Beloved Father in Heaven. An irrefutable case is made for on-going repentance and living a faithful and worthy life. An equal case is made for the balm of peace, beauty and love of God’s forgiveness, because of the perfect atonement of Jesus Christ. The light of Christ (light of truth), is explored, and we learn that if we will yield to the light of Christ (our conscience), like holy magnetism, the light of Christ will draw us to the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and to His peace and happiness. Yielding to the light of Christ shows us not only the right way, but the only way to godly peace in this world and a fulness of joy in the world to come. The Infinite Christ places Jehovah/Christ more clearly as the Lord and Redeemer of the universe and the source of infinite power, which He is able to share (and which priesthood holders are able to administer) because of His infinite Atonement. It more accurately defines the vicarious power of Christ as it relates to the Atonement. It puts the infinite Atonement in its proper place. Thereby we learn that the power is not in the Atonement; the power is in the Infinite Christ because of His Atonement. Part II, Redeemer Of The Universe, perhaps contains more scriptural detail on the life of Christ than any other book, with thoughtful analyses, commentary and insights throughout in an easy-to-read and understandable style. For the scope of coverage see the table of contents. Learning about and pondering the life of Christ increases our faith in Him. We gradually become more like Him and more inclined to minister to our neighbor, as He did. We little comprehend the perfect goodness, love, mercy, and kindness of our beloved Father in Heaven (Generous Giver of our body of spirit, flesh and bone, resurrection, possibility of celestial glory and eternal life) and the infinite love and compassion of his Only Begotten. Our gratitude increases as we ponder these things.
