Mary Ellen Edmunds is widely known and loved for her enthusiasm, optimistic outlook on life, delightful humor and inspiring ability to show how living the gospel makes life more joyful. In this talk, she explains how the little, everyday things we do can help us draw closer to the Savior and make us more nearly like Him. Using the words to the hymn 'More Holiness Give Me' as a pattern, she discusses such principles as patience, faith, joy, prayer and Christian service, illustrating each concept with experiences she has had as a full-time missionary in Asia and Africa, as a director of training at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, and as a neighbor, friend and sister in the gospel. This inspiring talk gives us hope that through the Atonement we can overcome our weaknesses and return to live with our Savior and our Father in Heaven.
