Once Chieko Okazaki was asked to speak on the sensitive subject of abuse at women's conference. Although not that familiar with sexual abuse at first, Sister Okazaki researched and prepared well for her presentation. The response to her talk was overwhelming. Several women and men approached her, all were members of the Church whose lives had been affected by sexual abuse.
