Christopher Conkling for BEI Productions, Inc., of Los Angeles, California, as the basis for a film on the life of the Prophet. Selection of the material was a subjective process, but an attempt has been made to present it with as little personal interpretation as possible. An extensive bibliography has also been prepared to provide the reader with a listing of more in-depth studies.Of particular interest to students and teachers of the Doctrine and Covenants is the historical background surrounding each revelation received by Joseph Smith.
