The Marion blackberry is considered to be the premium variety of the blackberry family. There are many varieties of blackberries - some larger, some smaller, some sweeter, some more tart. The Marion is a cross breed between the Chehalem and Olallie blackberries.'It has a full pronounced berry flavor that you'd expect from a blackberry and is slightly fruitier and a bit less 'edgy' than you'd get from an ordinary blackberry.
