In the 1970s BYU composer in residence Merrill Bradshaw created this stunning oratorio retelling the story of the Prophet Joseph Smith and the events surrounding the Restoration of the gospel and the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. Digitally remixed and remastered from the 1974 premiere performances conducted by faculty choral director John R. Halliday with BYU combined choirs, orchestra, and soloists Christine Rogers, soprano; Lois Johnson; mezzo-soprano; Roger Hoffman, tenor; and Craig Jessop, baritone.
