Children are a delight and a blessing and are unrestrained in their expressions of happiness and love. In this painting I wanted to capture that spirit and remind us of the Savior and the time that He took to be with and bless the little children. The scene I imagined as I was painting this picture was Christ among His creations in a setting of peace and tranquility. I included the doves to symbolize the purity of childhood and the flowers to portray the beauty of that innocence.
