The legacy of Latter-day Saints is one of believing. 'Search diligently, pray always, and be believing,' the scriptures tell us, 'and all things will work together for your good' (D&C 90:24). At the same time, however, we live in a cynical world where people mock faith and ridicule the positive attributes of those who believe. Recognizing the difficulty of holding on to faith in a world of unbelief, this compilation of outstanding talks from favorite Especially for Youth teachers focuses on the proclamation, 'We believe.' Each presentation reinforces the message of Joseph Smith in his famous letter to John Wentworth, declaring then and now that we are truly a believing people. 'Desire to have faith,' one author writes in the book, 'allow yourself to believe, pray for faith to overcome doubts and fears, recognize the faith within you, gather strength from others, and be determined to never abandon your believing ways. If you do these things, you will join the legacy of the valiant believers.'
