Every two years, the olive trees in an around Jerusalem are pruned so that they bear fruit. This exquisite Nativity is made from the pruned wood, hand-carved by artisans. Each of the 13 sleek figurines showcases the beautiful grain patterns of olive wood, drawing attention to the reality of that sacred night in Bethlehem, long ago, and the sacred night in Gethsemane that would one day change the world. Figurines include: Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus, cradle, three kings, a shepherd, a camel, a cow, and two lambs. Tallest piece measures 7”.
